The Big Hitter Silver Rough 17 Gauge Racket String is a very high performance based string. This particular string has five edges which will grip onto the ball, adding an incredibly high level of spin compared to traditional rounded strings. This string is highly durable, which you’d expect from a string that caters for spin. The string needs elastic properties so as it grips onto the ball, the string slides over as it grips harder. Because of the amount of string movement required for heavy spin shots, we advise that you have it strung at a lower tension; “If heavy spin shots are a part of your play style”.
